Some Summer Moments

Well, it's school time now, how did that happen?!

John is attending school this year at the same elementary school that I went to! How crazy is that?? He's doing 5 day a week preschool with speech therapy three days a week for an hour total for the week. I am hopeful that this will prepare him the best for Kindergarten next year. I know a lot of people feel that kids should just skip preschool, and while that may be true for some kids, perhaps the majority, its not true for John. He thrives in the school environment and loves it! I'm so glad we live in such a great district where they can give him the exact help he needs, while making it FUN.

Anyway, the week before school started I was folding laundry while Nathan had John and Ellie outside running through the sprinkler. It warmed my mama heart to hear their giggles and shrieks as the sprinkler would turn and spray them with cold water. Naturally, I had to get my camera since they didn't know I was watching; plus, I look for any excuse to stop doing laundry :)

Grace woke up from her nap while I was taking pictures of the other two, so after feeding and changing her, I popped her in the exersaucer and continued on folding the mountains of laundry. She was in a super good mood, just jabbering and spitting away. Cue second break from laundry ;)

I love that she's ALWAYS so happy after waking up! Maybe one day I can be like her haha

that tongue is always poking out

wanting a break

he's got a pretty contagious grin too lol

spit bubbles are her favorite pastime...

so happy to see daddy!
