Back!

So... 6 months later!! I really hadn't planned on taking that long of a break from everything, but I had to. Things have been INSANE, in good ways & bad.

We're in Kansas, not Texas. Are we okay with that? Yes. Are we a little bummed? Yes. There has just been so much, I'm not sure where to even start. I'll get around to the job/housing situation a little bit later in a different post which will explain why we ended up in Kansas.

Some short details

We are hoping to buy new construction in Auburn, KS. The house should be done in a month; we plan to move as soon as the house is finished & the VA loan is finalized.

Nathan is in school full time in the Masters program through Southwestern College of Professional Studies for Accounting/Finance. Currently he's doing it all online. It's touch but it keeps him interested, which is what he needs.

Nathan is also working full time for Sears as an in-home appliance repair man. He really enjoys it & always comes home with interesting stories! He hasn't had any reviews less than a 10 by his customers :) So thankful to have a hard-working & very handy husband!

I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis {a degenerative neuromuscular autoimmune disease} after spending a full week up at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in December. I'm grateful to have answers, happy that there's medication to keep it under control {currently am doing well with Mestinon 90mg/4x/day} & am slowly starting to get back to my old self. It's a process, and everyday is different, but I know I'm strong enough to handle the different challenges :)

Well.... there will be more posts here shortly. Here are a handful of photos from this past weekend; we took a road trip to Missouri to visit family that we hadn't seen since before going to Germany!
