And Then There Were 4!

Well, it feels SO GOOD to finally announce that we're expecting another little one! I've been dying to say something for weeks now. Since we planned this, I tested as early as I could because I just had to know; I've known since September 23rd! And no joke, like 20 people that I know have announced their pregnancies since then! Babies everywhere... so it feels good to add our little announcement to the mixture!

I had my first prenatal appointment today. The baby had a very strong fast heartbeat clocking in at 172bpm :-)

A lot of people say "oh, girl!!" But John's was that fast up until the second trimester... then it slowed down to the 160's. So we'll see what happens.

This pregnancy has been INTENSE to put it lightly. I have been so, so, so sick! I mean, I had a heck of a time with John; losing 22lbs by by second trimester, but I'm already down 10 lbs & I've been sick for about 4 weeks now (I'm around 10-11 weeks). With John I didn't get sick until 9 weeks so it started early & hard this time. Sprite is the only thing that stays down so needless to say I feel pretty crummy from not being able to consume calories. Infact, I couldn't even do my lab work today because the technician couldn't get any blood from my veins & I couldn't provide urine. So, since the Zofran & Phenergan clearly aren't working I'm on something else now, in a different drug family from those two. Hopefully it works. I need to be able to do labs on Wednesday when I go in for my ultrasound. If I can't & don't get better I'll need to go to the hospital for fluids & she even mentioned being hooked up to a pump to provide anti-nausea medication... I really don't want to do that!

Week 10; babies are about the size of a kumquat & Week 11 they're around a lime. Since I'm somewhere around there I found a small lime because I couldn't find a kumquat! lol
