Reminiscing :)

It's been a year since Nathan came home safely from his second deployment in Iraq. Well it was actually yesterday but I was too tired to write about it when I had the time lol. I can't believe how much has happened since he's been back. It's gone so fast which makes me hopeful that this next year will go fast as well. It's one of the best feelings in the world to be sitting at a redeployment ceremony & to be minutes away from being reunited with your loved one after not hugging them or smelling them and sometimes not even hearing their voice in months or even the full year. Last Valentines Day since my best friend & I were both alone due to deployment we made our homecoming signs & made the best of it. I found some pictures of homecoming day & it felt like just yesterday after looking through them. I'm so proud of my husband & have so much respect for him & all the other men & women who fearlessly defend our country; who spend countless weeks, months & years away from their families to fulfill their duty to our country. They are heroes in my mind. And now for some pictures!!! Nathan is the 4th soldier in from the left on the front row :)

My best friend, Mindi & her husband Joe & I waiting for the ceremony to begin!
Nathan receiving his combat badge.
Looking for Nathan as they were running into formation- Joe recorded the whole thing which was great!
Half of the formation. Nathan is the 4th in from the left in the front row.
