I had my second appointment today with the doctor & I am much happier this go around than last time. He agrees that there would be no harm in inducing 10 days early- March 18th! He just has to get the ok from the high risk doctor at stormont which shouldn't be a problem at all because I saw him up until I was 17 weeks. Hes very aware of our situation so thats comforting to me. My blood pressure is at a normal level & as it turns out all the horrid Braxton hicks I've been experiencing in my back in the middle of the night for the past week is actually doing something other than annoying me! I'm 1 centimeter dilated & 50% effaced & the doctor could feel John's head!!! I'm so excited & part of me hopes that he will come a little earlier than the 18th. I guess it's great progress especially since this is my first pregnancy & if I do make it to the induction date it'll make the process a lot easier. The only thing that wasn't great was how much water I'm retaining. My swelling has yet to go away & my legs & feet still look the same as they did in my last post.
I am so thankful for answered prayers. I know that I've been praying hard but I have truly have felt comforted over the past 8 days & I know it's because of all the prayers offered by my family & friends & for that I am so grateful & truly blessed!
And in 2 weeks I'll be picking Nathan up from the airport! I can't wait!!!
36 week picture to come shortly :)
