oh karma!

On Thursday night once I got back from Topeka & Nathan got home from work, which was super late for some stupid reason, we packed our bags and headed up to Nebraska to visit my grandparents. We made pretty good time & got there at midnight... we left at 9:30pm if that tell you anything about my husband's driving haha :-P


We had a really great time! My grandparents were SO excited to meet Bella & had tons of toys and treats & a super huge nice kennel waiting for her! We call it her house & she just loves it! (Such a relief to us because now we know that if we have to leave during the day she'll have tons of room to play and sleep without being a terror to the rest of the apartment!) We came back home yesterday because Bella had a vet appointment to get her Rabies shot as well as some other boosters. After that we took Bella home and decided to drive to Manhattan for dinner & a movie. We ended up eating at Longhorn (Nathan LOVES steak lol) & went to the 8pm showing of Harry Potter!!! I was sooo stoked! I normally go to the midnight showings but couldn't swing it this time around. Well, about 15 or 20 minutes into the actual movie, we had to leave because Nathan was sick!! AH! I figured this was karma for me being so stinkin sick for the majority of our marriage lol. Happy 3 month Wedding Anniversary to us- you get to miss out on Harry Potter & your husband gets sick :( lol. He's feeing much better today and later when he's off work we're headed back up to Topeka for my dad's birthday! :)
