Just a few weeks ago we decided to start doing one of our favorite family activities again; hiking!
Although, there aren't very many true hiking areas in Topeka, we found a kid friendly place to do a little nature walk on afternoon.
Theres a cute little pond and trails around Clarion Woods, so we went there to check it out.
It was the perfect amount of "hiking" for John & Ellie, especially since it was hot out. Grace was a little champ and slept the whole time in the wrap that I wore.
It made me miss Germany a lot, actually. Germany is just gorgeous and has forests everywhere, so there's never a shortage of where to go to have a little fun family adventure. Clarion Woods will do though ;)

I tried desperately to get Ellie and John to hug underneath this little canopy of leaves, but she wasn't having it. Leave it to John to strike a silly post for me though :)
