John loves & I do means loves his hot wheels. I'd say they are currently his favorite toys to play with. He loves to drive them on the elliptical, on counters, book shelves & window ledges. He's very methodical when he plays cars. He lines them all up, plays with one or two, then puts them back & works his way down the line. It's really funny!
I've been in a little photography rut & after reading about one photographer's idea of photographing her kids' toys, I decided it'd be fun to capture John with his cars. I love watching him play cars so I want to be able to remember the concentration is his face & his chubby hands picking up his tiny cars in 20 years.
Anyway, I just used my Canon 50mm 2.5 Compact Macro lens... so they're not completely true macros, but they are a lot closer than a regular prime lens would've accomplished.
