Ellie {9 Months}

Um, holy cow?! 9 months already... 

I was just telling my mom the other day over Skype, that 9 months is a tough milestone for me for some reason. I think it's because from this day forward she'll have spent more time in the world than inside of me. I don't know. She's not going to be a baby much longer & its really hard for me for some reason! I can't put into words whats in my mind, so I won't try because it'll just end up being word vomit. 

So, some Ellie stats :)

{I don't know her weight or length yet, but will soon once we go to the doctor for her second flu shot}

*Wears 9-12 month clothes. 12 months are usually sleepers & pants. Still a long & skinny gal :)

*Moved up to a size 4 diaper since she was blowing out her size 3's. The 4's are HUGE around her waist though. When fastening the strips, I put the second below the first so I can pull it tight enough, ha.

*Takes 2-3 naps a day.

*Still wakes up a few times a night. Its been pretty bad the past few weeks because she's teething. Her top two teeth are starting to come in now.

*Has her TWO bottom teeth!! {side note: she's only bitten me twice lol}

*Says "mama", "dada", "baba" {baba means she wants to be held}.

*Shakes her head yes if you ask her to {no joke, I have a video of it on Instagram!}.

*Loves food! Her favorites are eating the soft tips of asparagus, bread, black olives, chicken & turkey sticks from Gerber, the organic fruit & veggie purees in the pouches from healthy tot & freeze dried yogurt drops. She's also a fan of Goldfish... that was courtesy of her big brother :)

*Sometimes will drink out of a sippy cup when we're out & about-- she loves pear juice. She refuses to nurse unless we're in our dark bedroom & laying on the bed. She just gets too distracted otherwise. 

*Still doesn't crawl. She scoots & pivots around. John was the same way. He was 10 months old before he started to crawl.

*Enjoys standing at her little activity table & playing with all the gadgets on there.

*Claps her hands & bounces when I sing to her.

*Has green eyes still. Every once in a while they look blue.

{Can I just say how EXCITED I am about my new camera?! It's focus is insanely awesome! I didn't have to do any sharpening at all in post processing! Worth every single penny.}

Yes, I'm aware that my backdrop has some creases in it. Oh well.
