So, ever since John & I joined Nathan back in Germany, I have been going nuts because of lack of organization! Since Germans don't build closets into their homes (seriously...!) We've had no where to put out clothes except back in the suitcases. Our bedroom was stressing me out to the max! So this weekend, we got creative because we don't have several hundred dollars to drop on wardrobes or multiple dressers. I found my inspiration on Pinterest but tweaked it a little bit. Luckily Nathan is handy & good at improvising so we were able to "build" our wardrobe for about $150. Woohoo!

Two bookcases & a shower rod. I think soon we're going to replace the shower rod with either a solid wood or rod iron curtain rod. It's a little flimsier than I had anticipated & we still have clothes being shipped to us from my parents house. Plus, those metal totes that currently serves as our TV stand, is chock full of clothes... mostly my skinny girl clothes that I'll hopefully be able to swap out soon after this little one is born!

There's a screw that we didn't screw completely down behind the rod so it doesn't roll & the tie is so that one side of the rod doesn't fly up if the other side gets too heavy etc.

And this beauty served as our closet when we first arrived here a year ago... I now call it Nathan's Army crap closet.
Anyways, it might not be pretty, but it serves it's purpose for now. Since we're trying to save money for savings/college funds for John & baby #2, as well as save for a decent down payment on a house for when we return to the states we're trying to be frugle. Gotta love our ghetto ingenuity!
