Baby Bump #2 Update

1. How Far Along? 18 weeks & 4 days.
2. Due Date? May 31, 2013 :-)
3. Do you know the gender? YES! A sweet baby girl!!!!! We are thrilled!
4. Size of the baby? About the size of a SWEET POTATO (5.6 inches) (How Big is Baby?)
5. Total weight gain? Still down 25 lbs. I had to start taking my anti nausea meds again. I got sick a few times this week... although I don't think it was pregnancy sickness. I think I just happened to catch a little flu bug. My OB wants to test my thyroid function so they drew extra blood for that test today. Little Miss is growing just fine though! She's weighing in a half a pound :)
6. Maternity Clothes? Some shirts. I may be losing weight but my belly is still growing! All my regular jeans are too big even with the belly band. I found some petite size small maternity jeans from when I was pregnant with John in the beginning so I've been wearing those.... they stay up a little better.
7. Any stretch marks? Nope :)
8. How's the sleep? Not the greatest. I've been waking up A LOT & having trouble falling back asleep.
9. Best moment this week? Organizing our house & of course today, finding out that the baby's a girl :)
10. Missing anything? Ice. Germans don't use ice in drinks... they don't have ice makers either, probably because the "freezer" is really the size of a lunch box . I forget the reasoning, but I'm seriously craving ice!!!
11. Baby Movements? Yep.... getting stronger too! Little Miss definitely is more calm than John was though. She moves probably half as much as John did.
12. Any cravings? Ice
13. What makes you sick or queasy? A lot for some reason. Started taking my anti nausea meds again like I said earlier & that has helped greatly.
14. What pregnancy symptoms are there? Round ligament pain, fatigue, backache, MOOD SWINGS, forgetfulness, heartburn, acne, frequent headaches & pregnancy rash (PUPPS) & I also noticed I have a small varicose vein forming on my right leg.
15. Any labor signs? Nope.
16. Can you still wear your wedding rings? yep
17. Your mood is...? Excited!!! I'm so thrilled to be having a girl this time around! I really wanted John to be a girl & was a little bummed after I first found out (nothing that some baby clothes shopping didn't fix though).
18. Looking forward to? Looking around for baby girl things & getting stuff ready for her.
