Nathan told me that he wants John, and our future children to be musical like I am. I grew up with music all around me. My mom plays the piano beautifully & so that was the first instrument I learned. I then picked up the flute and a few years later the piccolo. Then, for a 10 hour value project for my Personal Progress, I learned the clarinet. In high school I picked up the alto & tenor sax, some oboe and a few percussion instruments. My main love is the flute, which was the instrument I was most serious about.
ANYWAY. Nathan said he always wanted to be musical & that's one attribute he'd like to instill in our kids. I wholeheartedly agree with him. Music is beautiful, personal, emotional, spiritual, & just an awesome thing to be a part of.
We started John early; tonight he played the piano for the first time ;-) Enjoy the pictures & video!
