He Should've Listened... :-P

Isn't it funny how husbands can sometimes think that their ways are better than their wife's way? Well, like I had previously said, over the 4th of July weekend, my husband went fishing with Jim (my uncle), my dad, and brothers. Now, in Kansas it's been over 100 degrees for the past couple of weeks, and the 4th of July weekend was no exception to this awful trend. I don't care who you are, if you're out on the water ALL DAY, in that kind of heat without a cloud in the sky, you will end up horribly burnt! Does Nathan like my thinking...? Of course not! His response?


"I've done two year long tours to Iraq and have never been burnt or peeled! I don't need sunscreen because I'm immune."


haha... okay, darling. Have fun!


Well he came back dark dark RED, yes ladies & gents, RED, not BROWN. Did he put aloe on? Pssh. of course not. At this point, I know he regrets not listening, but he won't ever admit that, and I'm okay with that fact.


A day or two ago he comes home from work and takes off his shirt and holy moly is he peeling something fierce!!! His response...?


"Babe... will you put the lotion on for me? It burns."

He's lucky I love him! :-P
