New, New, New :)

This whole blogging world is new to me, but when my husband, Nathan and I got married, I wanted a way to keep track of our life together. SO HERE WE GO!

We're newly married- April 18, 2011 :) Nathan is a Sergeant in the Army and I am currently looking for a job... ha which is proving to be almost impossible since we're going to be PCS'ing to Germany in the next few months!!!! No one wants to hire someone that's only going to be around for a short while. Oh well, I'm enjoying being a housewife... for now anyways lol.

Nathan and I met this past December actually when he was deployed in Iraq. My friend, Mindi, who I've known since high school decided that we'd get along great together after both of us had to come to her around the same time saying we needed to find someone special. Mindi's husband, Joe, is in the same unit as Nathan and has been with him pretty much since AIT, they've gone through deployments and everything together... we're basically one big happy family.

Since Nathan was deployed, we first started talking through facebook email, then chatting, and a week later we were skyping. I knew after the first few days of talking to him that he was the man I was going to marry. He was everything I imagined and so much more... good thing he was thinking the same thing :-P Nathan came back home March 3, 2011 and we've been together ever since. We're stationed in Fort Riley, KS, so I was driving from Topeka every few days in between work and classes to be with him, and well I guess the rest is history, eh? lol I truly can't imagine spending my life with anyone other than Nathan.

I'll post some pictures soon and get this blog up and going! I just got a new macbook pro as an early bday gift, so I haven't had the chance to transfer everything from my old one yet :( Hopefully in the next few days I'll have pictures and other exciting things up here for everyone lol.
