Wow this past month flew by! Baby girl is now 7 months! She is so much fun; she's learning new things every day like how to move around on her own! The past week has been a rough one. Last Friday Ellie came down with a nasty flu bug & suffered from vomiting & a fever for 6ish days. I think we are over that for the most part, but she still isn't quite herself. She just wants to sleep most of the time & is fussy when she's awake.
She was NOT happy to have her pictures taken this month. I only was able to salvage about 13 out of the 50 that I snapped lol.
Ellie has her well-baby appointment {for 6 months} on January 3rd. We were late getting her 2 & 4 month shots, then in conjunction with her being sick, it got pushed to January. So, I'm not sure how much she weighs or how long she is. If I had to guess, I'd guess about 16 lbs & 27 inches. So we'll see how right that is soon.
-Ellie wears 9 month clothes. Sometimes 6 months in onesies if they're long enough.
-Fits a size 3 diaper still.
-Still breastfeeds for her nourishment. No bottles. Enjoys snacking on table food through out the day-- refuses pureed food & baby cereal.
-Favorite Foods: Bread, Potatoes, Apple bits, Peas
-Transitioning into her crib. Her swing broke this past week & I refuse to contact Fisher Price for a new motor {for the second time}. We've been back & forth between her swing & our bed for months & I'm tired of it. She wakes up way too often for her age because she thinks that I need to be her binky all night long.
-Really, REALLY wants to crawl! She can get up & stay on her hands & knees. She tries to move forward, but she moves both knees as the same time & face plants. To get around, she rolls or scoots herself.
-Her favorite songs that mama sings to her are, "I am a Child of God" & "You are my Sunshine".
-Sucks on her pointer & middle fingers only.
-Loves to bite daddy's nose :)
-Talks to us all the time, especially at night when she's tired.
-Adores John, even when he's being a brute ;)
-Major cuddle bug & a total mama's girl!
