Ellie {6 months}

Today our little Ellie-belle is 6 months! Time goes too quickly. She is such a great baby so it's hard to see her get so big, so fast!! I want her to stay tiny forever :)

I usually put up weight stats & such but she hasn't had her appointment yet. Although, a couple weeks ago we had a WIC appointment & she was 14 lbs 9oz I believe & 25.5 inches. I am almost positive she's grown close to an inch. Most of her 6 month pants & sleepers are TOO SHORT! This girl just grows length wise sooo dang fast.

~Ellie loves to sit up by herself & play with her toys that dangle on her play mat

~Ellie loves to watch John play; she practically is jumping out of her skin to join him! It won't be too long...

~Ellie is starting to get up on her hands & knees! Crawling is in her near future!

~Ellie has started grunting & growling this past week. It is HILARIOUS! I will have to catch a video of it soon & post it.

~ Ellie wears a size 3 diaper {Huggies only. Everything else leaks, which is the complete opposite of John. Pampers only for him... weird how that works.}

~Ellie is still {proudly!} only breastfed. She's had solids 6 times since she was 4 months. She likes cereal, but doesn't want to eat very often. Which is fine. John was hardcore into foods at 4 months & my pregnancy with Ellie aside, it hurt our breastfeeding. Anyway, now that she's 6 months, I'll be diligent about making sure she eats some type of solid every day.

~Ellie loves to grab for mommy's glasses.

~Ellie wakes up about 3-5 times a night. 80% of the time she wakes up & needs soothed back to sleep. So I'm basically her binky since she won't take one. I think she's ready to be out of our room which is a problem. She's definitely not ready to be in the nursery with John. So I guess we'll move her crib into the hallway at night right outside our bedroom door.

~Ellie wears size 6-9 months onesies & 9 month sleepers & pants. Her shoe size is a 2.

~Ellie's eyes are GREEN most days. Sometimes {when she wears blue} they are blue.

~Ellie is working on cutting her first two teeth. We've been seeing the same two little white bumps just below the gum surface for a few weeks now. She seems to be a slooow teether just like her big brother.

~Ellie is always chewing on her clothes, blanket or toys.

~Ellie loves to give mommy kisses! She started giving out those precious slobbery baby kisses about 2 weeks ago. I just love it! John never really did that for whatever reason.

Well my head is pounding {its been a looong day} so that's all I can think of right now.
