Baby Bump #2 - 38 Week Update

Baby Bump #2

1. How Far Along? 38 weeks

2. Due Date? May 31, 2013 

3. Do you know the gender? Girl

4. Size of the baby? About the size of a PUMPKIN! (How Big is Baby?)

5. Total weight gain? I lost 2 lbs this week, so, +18 lbs. Down 7 lbs from pre-pregnancy.

6. Maternity Clothes? Yes & Nathan's t-shirts for lounging around & my yoga pants.

7. Any stretch marks? Yep. I counted 10 little ones still. They're a little more purple than last week =(

8. How's the sleep? Total crap! I can't seem to fall asleep before midnight. Then I wake up at 2am & 4am to pee. Then Nathan gets up at 5am for work & tells me bye around 5:30am. John is bright eyed & bushy tailed at 6am. I almost always take a morning nap when John does & sleep super hard. 

9. Best moment this week? Today, John & I were able to get out of the house! 

10. Missing anything? energy. clear skin. not being swollen. hips that don't pop in & out of place.

11. Baby Movements? Of course! 

12. Any cravings? Not really. I don't have much of an appetite. I usually crave drinks. I can drink all day long but eating, eh. Usually doesn't sit well. 

13. What makes you sick or queasy? Nothing in particular. It just comes out of no where. Usually at night is when I get sick. Gotta love the body's way of prepping for delivery... not.

14. What pregnancy symptoms are there? 

-fatigue 

-backache & sciatica

-forgetfulness 

-heartburn; this little girl is gonna come out with an afro with how much heartburn I have!

-acne

-frequent bathroom trips 

-pregnancy rash (PUPPS) 

-a small varicose vein on my right leg

-excessive hair growth

-super dry skin

-swelling... thanks preeclampsia, thanks.
-headaches
-nausea & vomiting
-very sore hips

15. Any labor signs? Yes actually. Along with contracting regularly whenever I'm up being productive, I also have been losing bits of my mucus plug (gross, I know, sorry!) & I'm most definitely producing plenty of colostrum. Crazy sore hips. She has definitely dropped. Her head is "practically out" according to my OB lol. 1 cm dilated still as of Tuesday, but the OB said her head is even lower than last week. She could touch it & the membrane. She predicts that when labor starts it will progress super fast. 

16. Can you still wear your wedding rings? Actually, I AM today! I was so excited that they went on =D

17. Your mood is...?  Overall happy. Anxious. Ready to be done being pregnant.

18. Looking forward to? Tomorrow. We are filling out all the paper work for the hospital. Wouldn't it just be perfect if I went into labor while there? lol wishful thinking. I really do hope its sometime this week though. I'm getting really antsy since I went into labor with John at 38 weeks & 3 days.... 1 day before my scheduled induction. I hope she follows suit!
