John Anthony - 11 months!

Our cute little troublemaker turned 11 months this past Sunday, the 17th! I had a fun mini photo shoot planned out for after church with him in his little suit, however, we both came down with a stomach bug on Saturday & spent most of Sunday in bed sleeping. LAME! John & I have been catching every stupid bug it seems this winter.

The past month John has learned many new, fun things! I've really enjoyed this past month (not that I haven't enjoyed the other 10), when I look at him I don't see a baby anymore, I see this little person, who has likes & dislikes, who is extremely independent & is just so fun-loving! 

John's Stats & Facts!

-  About 22.5 lbs

-About 30 inches tall (he's too wiggly for me to really know)

-Wears a combo of 12 & 18 month clothing. I really wish they made a 15 month or something. 12 month pants are too short & too tight around his little belly, but 18 months are SOOO long & a little big around his waist. 18 month jammies fit great though, as do shirts & onesies. 

-His favorite foods are green beans right out of the can, oven roasted turkey breast lunch meat, mac & cheese & apple/blueberry sauce.

-Loves getting into trouble! Seriously, this kid gets past all my baby proofing. He's a pro- laughing & squealing as he's destroying something. 

-Loves making others laugh. Whenever anyone coughs, he forces himself to cough to get whoever it is to notice him & laugh. Silly, silly kid!

- Crawls, pulls himself up & is starting to take a couple of steps every so often. 

-He is really picking up on a lot of words! In addition to the usual mama, dada, mom, dad, etc, he says "Oh wow!", "okay", "yeah", "uh-oh", "no", "book" (comes out as boog), "whoa!" "bababa" (his way of saying baby. I've been trying to show him that there's a baby in my tummy).  He jabbers a lot too & mimics our voice inflections.

-Reading is his favorite activity to do with mommy.

-Has to see what I'm doing at all times. Not separation anxiety, but just curious. He's my little shadow. When I'm cooking he has to be right up where he can see whats going on etc.

-Loves bath time & being naked. He screams every time bath time is over & he has to get dressed. 

- Usually wakes up 1-2 times a night & usually takes 2 naps a day.

John was walking along the couch! He likes to walk along the little middle curve. Of course, as soon as I started recording him, he stopped.... see video below! lol
