Goodbye, Hoover Vacuum... Hello, Morphy Richards!

Last night after I was done butchering errr, cutting, shaving (whatever) my husband's hair, I got out the vacuum to clean up the mess. It was a ton... like his whole head of hair because he wanted me to give him a medium fade blah, blah, blah. Well, it didn't work & when I tried to turn it into a high & tight haircut my hand slipped & thus, a completely shaved head is what had to happen.

ANYWAY... that's another post lol.

Our little Hoover windtunnel air vacuum that we bought when we were first married decided to crap out. It had been breaking over the past couple weeks & finally just quit (ohhhh darn!). So today after Nathan was home from work, we headed to the PX to see what our options were. There was Dyson, which I love (after my parents Kirby died after 24 long years, my mom bought a Dyson ball) but we couldn't afford that, there was a Dirt Devil, Bissell & a European brand, Morphy Richards. After looking this vacuum up real fast on my phone, I saw that it had rave reviews everywhere & was only $189 compared to Dyson's $499.

I adore it!! It maneuvers & has better suction than my parent's Dyson, which really surprised me. I looked up this new vacuum online to see if they sold them in America & apparently it's the European version of the Shark navigator; the only difference is the Morphy Richards has a larger capacity. So, when we head back to the states, I'll be buying the Shark navigator since I won't be able to use the Morphy Richards without buying a transformer for the 220 plug-in.
