John has grown so much in the past month; I can't wait to see how much he weighs next Monday. I'm going to take him to the breastfeeding clinic since there's not a well-baby appointment for 3 months. At 9 weeks he was 13 pounds so I'm going to guess that he'll be about 14 pounds. His eating has started to level off. More times than not he goes 3 hours during the day & usually an 8 hour stretch at night. Also, he is starting to get his two little bottom teeth. They have not emerged from the gums yet but they're there; two little white teeth clear as day! He is drooling a lot, super cranky/fussy, sleepy & likes to rub his tongue over that area of his gums & gnaws at his fists and blankets. I think it's time to invest in a few teething toys.
He was super cute when skyping with Nathan today :) He was sound asleep when Nathan & I first started skyping but as soon as he heard Nathan's voice he woke right up & started talking away & smiling at him. It was so precious! I'm glad he knows who his dad is even though he's only spent 15 days with him total. I try to play recordings of Nathan for him daily so he can recognize his voice at least.

so cute!! I can't wait to meet this kid!
ReplyDeleteNathan had 2 little bottom teeth like that, just right under the gums for SEVEN months before the first one popped through on his FIRST birthday...it was awful! I'm sure John's will pop through sooner; here's hoping!
