ugh...!

What a crazy couple of weeks its been! I've been soooo sick! I went to the doctors on post twice and was told I had tonsil stones and then was told I had an infection of my throat. Well, a week ago I ended up in the ER because I couldn't stop vomiting and after Nathan pushed for blood work to be done, it turns out I have mono. How miserable!!! They say it's worse and lasts longer the older you are, so I really hope I start feeling better soon.

On the bright side, my birthday was Sunday and I had a great day with family :) My parents bought me a Kitchen Aid which I am so excited to use when I have the energy back lol. Right now it's still sitting in it's box.

Bella is still doing pretty well. She's on another course of antibiotics though because she has a nasty UTI & a skin infection :( Poor baby. The vet said her immune system was just so compromised by the parvo when we got her that even though she was hooked up to fluids and antibiotics for a few days at the hospital and on medication for the next week, it just wasn't enough. That hasn't gotten her down though. She's still a bundle of fun and energy lol.

I'm getting so excited for Germany in December! It's kind of starting to sink in that that's where we'll be for the next 3 years. I'm so nervous about living so far away from friends and family, but hopefully we'll be living on base and I'll meet some other Army wives that are going through the same thing. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Nathan doesn't get shipped out to Afghanistan as soon as we get there... ugh who knows with the Army though.
